Joseph Wakim is an independent writer on human rights issues (UN Association Media Award finalist 2014). He was founder of the Australian Arabic Council and former Victorian Multicultural Affairs Commissioner. He was author of 'Sorry we have no space' (Australian Christian Book of the Year 2014 finalist) and 'What my daughters taught me' (Allen & Unwin, 2015) to much international acclaim. Joseph's writing extends to advocacy writing, grant applications, business tenders, award nominations, story writing and ghost writing.
